Why Bisglycinate?

Comparing Magnesium Forms

In an in-vitro intestinal cell model, magnesium bisglycinate demonstrated greater magnesium transport than magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide.

Magnesium bisglycinate has also been evaluated in human research, including studies examining magnesium absorption and gastrointestinal tolerance.

A Human Study of Magnesium Absorption

In a randomized, double-blind crossover study, magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium oxide were compared in individuals with impaired intestinal absorption.

Magnesium bisglycinate showed evidence of earlier absorption and was associated with better gastrointestinal tolerance in this study.
